What is Gift Aid?
Gift Aid was introduced by the Government in April 2000 to allow charities to reclaim the basic rate of tax on donations - large and small, regular and one-off - made by a UK taxpayer.

If you’re a UK income taxpayer, Breast Cancer Campaign can claim tax on your donation which means for every £1 you give, the charity could receive an extra 28p from HM Revenue & Customs. This may seem a small amount in isolation, but if all our supporters signed up to Gift Aid last year, we would have raised an extra £900,000.

Please do remember to fill out a Gift Aid form and ask all your supporters to tick the Gift Aid column and provide their full name and house number.

What is matched funding?
Most companies will support their employees’ charity of choice by offering to match funds raised. Please ask your company as it’s a fantastic way to boost your fundraising efforts and helps Breast Cancer Campaign fund even more research.

How can I find out how much money is raised by wear it pink 2008?
