"My research, which is made possible by the money raised by events like wear it pink, investigates the relationship between a breast cancer gene and its effect on the response to certain breast cancer treatments. We all take part in wear it pink too - we've raised £700 through our pink cake sales!"

"My job is to promote Breast Cancer Campaign's work and keep our supporters updated with the charity's news, events and achievements. I've been quite busy fundraising myself, having run the adidas Women's 5k Challenge and doing a skydive recently - and yes I was wearing pink for both!"
